JOB SUMMARY

Parts Associate is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Parts room. 

Duties include receiving incoming shipments, delivery of orders to both internal & external customers and the daily upkeep of parts inventory & areas belonging to the Parts department.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer calls for Parts department
  • Sign for deliveries & assist with unloading—inspect all shipments for damage & notify freight company &  Parts Manager before signing, if damage is detected
  • Open all packages & verify quantities & parts numbers with packing slip; check all packages for damage &      notify Parts Manager with any discrepancies
  • Process & file purchase orders, EBO’s & stock orders
  • Enter parts on work orders, invoice out Parts orders/tickets
  • Receive orders in EBS using the EBO–parts that do not have an EBO will need to be billed either to the work order or sales order as an OPP entry
  • Pull parts & gather them on a daily basis for Shop jobs & Road Tech work orders
  • Notify Service Manager of any parts received on Service order tickets
  • Track down/order after-market options for parts, if needed
  • For customer orders, notify customer that parts have been received & are ready for pick-up
  • Return cores promptly & monitor core credits
  • Return parts for Warranty, as instructed by Warranty Administrator
  • Respond to email requests for parts quotes in a timely manner
  • Stage orders on Shipping counter that need to be shipped, Stock orders need to be received in the same manner

MONTHLY/ANNUAL ROUTINE:

  • Run Inventory listing
  • Manage monthly core deposit schedule
  • Take inventory of road vans

JOB SUMMARY

Forklifts Service Technicians are responsible for repairing a wide range of material handling equipment.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Diagnose equipment failures efficiently and effectively

  • Remove and install OEM componentry

  • Disassemble and reassemble existing componentry

  • This includes engines, attachments, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, power train, brakes, steering, and electronic controls.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid driver’s license and insurability

  • Pass a pre-employment physical, and drug screen

  • Own tools to perform main job functions (laptop provided)

  • Maintain a safe work environment at all times

  • Understand and operate Microsoft and Forklifts’ software

  • Able to pull, lift, or move up to 75 lbs.

  • Read and understand electric and hydraulic circuit diagrams

  • Communicate effectively with all customers
